Curls Founder Mahisha Dellinger Launches Health & Wellness Beverage Brand

Mahisha Dellinger—the founder of haircare brand Curls—has entered the wellness category with a Huzzy Smart Sips, a new line of alcohol-free ready-made beverages that offer health benefits and a buzz—but not a hangover.

The premium range of non-alcoholic beverages is said to appeal to the “modern” woman's preference for sophisticated, health-conscious alternatives. The line includes Berry Banger Margarita, Spill The Tea-Long Island, Pow Wow Moscow, Golden Elixir Whiskey Fixer, Honey Pop Lemon Drop and Siesta Sipper Sangria.

The drinks are designed for health benefits from ingredients such as fruit extracts, antioxidants, adaptogens and nootropics such as passion flower and lion's mane extract. The brand does not include ashwagandha due to what it calls “its harmful effects on the liver and gut.”

The drinks are vegan, non GMO, gluten free, low carb, low calorie, and caffeine-free.

The brand is supporting the Sad Girls Club, a leading mental health organization, with the aim of providing access to mental health support this year, alongside a pledge to donate 1% of all Huzzy purchases to support the organization's work.
